Aronia Berry

Aronia melanocarpa from Eclectic Herb is also known as chokeberry. It's native to eastern North America. The dark purple berries are adaptogenic (they increase non-specific resistance) and highly prized by indigenous cultures. Aronia's high levels of phenolics, tannins, anthocyanidins, procyanidins and flavanoids make it a top antioxidant fruit.
